Eco-Recycling

Ecofriendly Recycling of Lithium-Ion Batteries
The Eco-Recycling process focuses on environmental friendliness, CO2 reduction, and optimal recycling efficiency. This technology achieves both eco-friendliness and maximum economic efficiency.

Ecofriendly Recycling of Lithium-Ion Batteries

Discharging- Reuse of Energy

Using intelligent control software, the system automatically discharges based on charge state, voltage, and battery life, independent of the manufacturer. The recovered electricity is then supplied to the power grid that powers the factory.
  • Safety risks are automatically taken over by the control system
  • Reliable protection against operating errors
  • Very high linear discharge power leads to high throughput and high efficiency
  • Defined deep discharge - no further electrical danger.

Vacuum drying

The Eco-Recycling process includes mechanical shredding and battery deactivation under low-temperature, low-vacuum conditions, which allows for the high-purity recovery of electrolytes and graphite/lithium solvents for reuse.
  • no generation of gydrogen fluoride
  • Saving capital expenditures and operations cost for an exhaust gas scrubber
  • Purity of over 99.5% reuse condensed solvents of the Electrolyte for new Batteries
  • Low operating costs save the most CO2
  • Short drying time leads to higher efficiency

Shredding & Sorting

  • Black Powder : Concentration of cobalt and nickel
  • Re-sorting

CO2 savings-financial and environmental benefits

The process of environmentally friendly recycling of lithium-ion batteries is a crucial task that can provide both environmental and economic benefits. To this end, we conduct Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) in accordance with ISO standards EN ISO 14040, 14044, and 14071 to achieve energy savings, minimize resource consumption, and reduce CO2 emissions.
  1. 1 Energy Savings and Resource Consumption Minimization
Intelligent discharging, low-temperature drying, and high-purity separation in the lithium-ion battery recycling process achieve reduced energy and raw material usage.
  2. 2 CO2 Emission Minimization (Carbon Footprint, PCF)
Optimizing the recycling process minimizes the need for pollution control facilities, which directly leads to reduced CO2 emissions (PCF).
  3. 3 Sustainability
Eco-friendly and economical battery recycling technology paves the way for new markets, promotes industrial growth, and enables sustainable energy use.
